The Fiat 500 (in Italian: cinquecento) has a legendary status in Italian motoring history. Also known as Fiat Bambino, this car was built between 1957 and 1977.
The car was designed by Dante Giacosa, one of the greatest light car designers of all time. Measuring only 3 meters long, and powered by a tiny 479 cc two-cylinder, air cooled engine, the 500 redefined the term "small car".
In 2007 Fiat launched the successor to the Bambino and named it Fiat Nuova (New) 500. This Fiat 500 kids replica with its classic Italian styling is made by Peg Perego in Italy. It features the original Fiat 500 horn, electronically assisted power steering for easy and controlled driving, and has an opening hood with interlocking toy engine kit. There is also a safety belt for added security for parents.
