FIAT ABARTH New 500 - Pedal Car

The Fiat 500 (in Italian: cinquecento) has a legendary status in Italian motoring history. Also known as Fiat Bambino, this car was built between 1957 and 1977. The car was designed by Dante Giacosa, one of the greatest light car designers of all time. Measuring only 3 meters long, and powered by a tiny 479 cc two-cylinder, air cooled engine, the 500 redefined the term "small car".

In 2007 Fiat launched the successor to the Bambino and named it Fiat Nuova 500, furthermore a special version was later launched named Fiat 500 Abarth. The 'Abarth' is the performance model, the AMG of Mercedes range to use a parallel. The Fiat Abarth has a fuel efficient 1.4L turbo petrol engine which produces 135hp which gives the miniature performance car plenty of punch. This little pocket rocket races from 0-100km/h in under 8 seconds.

The Abarth bodywork includes a bolder front apron design that sits closer to the ground, plus side skirts and a lower rear apron. Abarth stickers adorn the flanks, and an Abarth badge floats within the grille, showing off the scorpion motif. Abarth is developing a Fiat Abarth 'SS' model,which could pump out an extra 35kw,taking the figure to 180hp.
